Job Requirements
- 2 to 7 years' experience of working in Upstream Oil and Gas for Exploration and Production (E&P) assets.
- He / She must have worked with process of Onshore / Offshore / Oil / LNG / Gas treatment facilities.
- Competent to perform System level studies. Examples of systems are - Separation, Oil and Gas Processing, Gas compression, Flare Systems (HP, LP), Vent Systems (HP, LP) etc.
- Carry out Process Simulations, calculations and develop Heat & Mass Balance as required.
- Expert in process simulation tools like Pro-II, Aspen, HTRI, FLARENET, etc.
- Expertise in developing and reviewing process documents like PFDs, PSFDs, P&IDs, C&EDs, Safe charts.
- Proven skills in routine process calculations [Blowdown/Depressurization(MDMT) studies, Heat dissipation study, Thermal design of Heat exchanger, Compressor/Pipeline surge analysis, Line & Equipment sizing]
- Able to predict performances of existing equipment expected to operate in different conditions (including risk analysis of vibration)
- Troubleshooting studies : to compare actual performances vs. theoretical ones
- Endorsement of Equipment Datasheets and Instrument process datasheet for Control valves, Flow elements and Pressure Safety Valves
- Validate process design summary and description
- Working knowledge of PI modules viz. PI Process book, PI Vision, PI data extraction is preferred.
- Collect data for identified Assets in the areas of Energy Use, Venting, and Flaring. Analyze the values and quantify GHG, fill appropriate templates and provide technical recommendations for GHG reduction.
- Provide recommendations on GHG reduction. The individuals shall operate with minimal supervision and will be an extension of customer CFR program.
- Participate in workshop with customer on Process studies & GHG reduction
- Expertise in HAZOP & HAZID studies
- Should have strong communication skills

- Understand the problem we want to solve, collect all necessary data previous analysis files, conditions, P&IDs, other documents.
- Estimate efforts, timelines and dependencies to solve the problem
- Build / Update the model for analysis (including various scenarios, boundary conditions and acceptance criteria)
- Review results and make recommendations
Examples of typical tasks that need to be undertaken in the work stream GHG Reduction
- Study P&ID, Data sheets of the asset
- Collect Energy, Flaring and Venting Data from PI Server, Fix data issues, Analyze values and create mapping reports
- Conduct System Studies and identify GHG reduction opportunities and provide recommendations
- Support leader for Asset Workshops
- Establish GHG saving evaluations
