Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Understand the unit operations involved in drug manufacturing and propose improved process parameters.
Provide support in optimizing drug development process in lab as well as plant
P&ID preparation for the manufacturing skid
Executing scale up batches and validation batches
Communicating clearly with vendors about product requirement and finalizing the equipment
Process designing for new products in the existing as well as new manufacturing skid
Providing technical support to production, project and engineering teams to resolve process related challenges
Co-ordinate with different internal and external partners to ensure timely project execution.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E/B. Tech Chemical Engineering
1-2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, experience in formulation scale up experience preferred
Good understanding of basic unit operations of mixing, drying, filtration etc.
Process modelling experience is preferred which is an added advantage
