Job Title

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Leadership

  : Design & deploy Seeq analytics solutions for O&G use cases (predictive maintenance, yield optimization, emissions monitoring). 

• Customer Engagement

  : Partner with clients (engineers to executives) to identify pain points, build ROI-driven analytics strategies, and train users. 

• Team Building

  : Hire, mentor, and lead a team of analytics engineers and sales engineers across India. 

• Pre-Sales/Post-Sales Ownership

  : Lead technical demos, POCs, and post-sales implementations while collaborating with Sales Engineering and Customer Success. 

• Practice Development

  : Create reusable assets (templates, workflows) to accelerate analytics adoption in Indias O&G sector. 

Must-Have Qualifications

Industry Expertise

• 2+ years in

  Oil & Gas operations/engineering

  (refining, petrochemicals, pipelines, or upstream). 
• Hands-on experience with

  predictive maintenance, yield optimization, or emissions monitoring

  projects. 

Technical Skills

• Expertise with

  industrial data platforms

  : OSIsoft PI/AF (required), SCADA, or historians (e.g., AspenTech IP.21, AVEVA PI). 
• Proven ability to learn analytics tools rapidly (Seeq training provided). 

Leadership Profile

• Managed teams of 5+ technical staff (analysts, engineers, or consultants). 
• Track record of

  customer-facing project delivery

  (pre-sales to post-sales). 

Soft Skills

• Translates technical analytics into executive-level ROI stories. 
• Builds trust with plant engineers and C-suite stakeholders. 
• Entrepreneurial mindset to scale a new practice. 
• Prior exposure to Seeq, TrendMiner, or similar process analytics tools. 
• Experience with Python/SQL for data modeling. 
• Network in Indias O&G industry (Reliance, ONGC, Shell, Chevron, etc.).
