Your responsibilities will include developing cost-effective production processes, providing suggestions during quality corrective action investigations, and collaborating with the manufacturing team to streamline operations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate and enhance processes in manufacturing systems. - Review previous jobs to ensure optimization for future jobs. - Improve process capability, production volume, and quality standards. - Develop and implement systems to optimize all phases of the production process. - Provide inputs to the quoting process regarding material specifications and manufacturing process steps. **Skills/Key Competencies:** - Proficiency in process engineering software like Solidworks and Autocad. - Familiarity with programming languages such as Unigraphics, Mastercam, and Pro-E. - Technical competence in software programs like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, and MS Project. - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Research skills to address project-related issues and specifications effectively. **Qualifications:** - A four-year academic degree in Engineering is preferred. - Five years of direct work experience in process engineering or manufacturing, with a focus on machined components like gears and shafts. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in reading GD&T from drawings. - Willingness to learn and apply new technologies. - Flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
