Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Process Engineer to lead and execute the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) / Detailed Engineering (DE) phases for a Cumene and Phenol production facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in petrochemical processes, especially in Cumene and Phenol production technologies, and will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, licensors, and EPC contractors to ensure design integrity, schedule adherence, and project deliverables. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate FEED/ Detailed Engineering activities for Cumene and Phenol units . Liaise with technology licensors, EPC contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of project scope and technical specifications. Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, HMBs, and material selection diagrams. Support HAZID/HAZOP, SIL, and other risk assessments throughout the engineering phases. Prepare and review engineering deliverables including data sheets, technical specifications, design calculations, and layout drawings. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications (e.g., API, ASME, NFPA). Provide input for cost estimation, procurement strategies, and long-lead item identification. Monitor engineering progress against project milestones and intervene as necessary to resolve issues. Participate in design reviews, model reviews (3D), and constructability assessments. Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent. 12–20 years of relevant experience, with at least 3-5 years in Cumene and/or Phenol process projects. Proven track record in FEED and DE phases for large-scale petrochemical projects(Cumene/Phenol). Familiarity with leading licensors and their design packages. Strong knowledge of process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus). Effective communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. EPC or Owner Operator experience is a plus. Willingness to travel or relocate as per project requirements.
