Process Engineer Experience: 8- 18 years Industry: Oil & Gas experience is mandatory Job location: Bangalore, working from office job, Monday to Friday Key skills: Surge Analysis, Aspen HYSYS, Pipe SIM, SPS tools, Gas Processing, Process Engineering, Hydraulic Analysis Roles & Responsibilities: Review and verification of input as per the project requirement. Prepare and review process flow diagram for process based on project requirement. Prepare, update and review P&IDs based on Process flow or project requirement. Performs specialized engineering duties related to pipeline system surge analysis, operating pressures and overpressure protection calculations. Conduct surge analysis modeling for projects. Review and evaluate data related to overpressure protection setpoints, sizing and installation requirements. Assist in design and specification of new/modified overpressure protection mitigations. Prepare, update and review Process Datasheets for Process equipment like Pumps, Storage tanks, Reactors, Vessels, Columns, Separator, Heat Exchangers and other process equipment such as filtration equipment, and drying equipment. Prepare, update and review Process Datasheets for Instrumentation. Perform and review Hydraulic study, Hydraulic calculations for Line sizing, Pump head etc. Perform and review Control valve sizing calculations. Perform and review Relief valve sizing calculations using appropriate codes Prepare, update and review line list, equipment list etc., Prepare, update and review Cause and Effect and Control Narratives based on the project requirements. Conduct Surge analysis modeling for projects. Preparation of Design documents. Key Skills: Proficient in Aspen HYSYS. Working knowledge of Synergy Pipeline Simulator, AFT Impulse or similar software. Operating knowledge of AutoCAD & Navis works software. Transmission/gathering pipeline operations Gas measurement and regulation activities Processing and/or storage operations Company/Governmental operation and safety procedures Pipeline stress/strain analysis Industry best practices and design philosophy Education & Personality: B.E. / B. Tech / M. Tech in Chemical Engineering. Minimum 4+ years experience in Oil & Gas. Good knowledge of industrial Projects in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry. Good communication skills with technical experts. Good Technical reasoning, analytical and monitoring skills. Exposure to Industry design standards and codes.
