Process Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, process calculations, and mass / energy balances.
• Perform equipment sizing, prepare datasheets, specifications, and define utility requirements.
• Prepare design basis documents, plant layouts, and GA drawings.
• Execute Basic and Detailed Engineering for process systems and technologies.
• Prepare technical specifications, review vendor offers, and support technical bid evaluations.
• Interface with clients, licensors, OEMs, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across civil, structural, MEP, and utilities.
• Evaluate and select optimal technologies based on CAPEX, OPEX, and value engineering.

Desired Skillsets

• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering (Civil, Structural, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Ability to coordinate and guide cross-functional teams to meet process and project needs.
• Working knowledge of Project Management and cost estimation.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning (desirable).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (desirable).
• Familiarity with process simulation tools (Aspen) (desirable).
• Experience in EPCM / EPC environments, with good communication skills in English & Hindi and a proactive attitude.
