Private Debt Associate

As a member of the Private Debt team at Benefit Street Partners, you will play a crucial role in supporting the evaluation, structuring, and negotiation of private debt transactions, along with monitoring investments. Your responsibilities will include: - Modeling and valuation of potential investment opportunities - Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses to support underwriting of investment ideas - Supporting transaction due diligence and closing processes - Preparing detailed investment committee memoranda - Managing existing investments - Assisting in structuring transactions - Understanding key credit documentation and deal terms To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess: - 2+ years of investment banking or related experience, preferably with some leveraged finance or debt/credit analysis - Strong academic record - Expert analytical and financial modeling skills - Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills Benefit Street Partners operates as a Specialist Investment Manager within Franklin Templeton, managing funds for various investors across different strategies.
