Private Banking Advisor

As a Private Banking Advisor at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, India, you will be responsible for the Branch Banking liability business. This business is present in 17 locations across India, catering to a diverse population through channels like Personal Banking, Private Banking, and Business Banking. Your primary objective will be to enhance the value of the savings account portfolio through cross-selling, leading to an increase in fee income, and to acquire new clientele. In this role, you will work closely with the Head Relationship Manager to execute successful micro-events for the acquisition of new clients. You will acquire new accounts from group companies/family of existing customers and through referrals from existing customers. It will be your responsibility to ensure consistent growth of the Savings portfolio and establish synergies for maximum penetration of Investment & Insurance sales to new customers, along with deepening into the book i.e. AUM. Additionally, you will focus on building a robust momentum with regard to third party distribution (insurance, auto loans, mortgages) and fee income to scale up client portfolio growth in line with set targets. Your duties will also include ensuring top-class service delivery to clients to align with industry standards, monitoring high net worth accounts closely to encourage regular use and balance growth, and resolving service hurdles to create a delightful customer experience. You will be required to adhere to various compliance norms of the bank, such as the Know Your Customer policy, Anti Money Laundering Policy, and Code of Conduct. Reporting any suspicious transactions to the Area Manager and promoting the use of Alternate Channels will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have experience in servicing or sourcing clients with a relationship of 20 lacs+. Candidates with a background in Banking, Premium club membership, or High-End Credit card sales are preferred. Excellent communication skills in English, a well-groomed appearance, a minimum qualification of Graduation, and 6-12 years of relevant field experience are required.
