Position Summary & Scope

Maintenance of Press, operation of CTP, Prepare Product, carry out Make-ready Operations, pursue Press Operations and prepare and share reports with the objective of finishing the print operation on time with quality standards and without any customer complaints. This is a local/zonal/national local level role having short/medium/long term short impact on the overall

organizational goals.

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)

• Press Maintenance Carry out maintenance as per preventive maintenance schedule and operational complaint if any.
• Product Planning - Make Products of all editions going to be run after consulting with CTP-in-charge and Shift-in-charge regarding Page Levels to prepare the press for production.
• Make-ready Operations Towers: Prepare Web Leading and Plate mounting of all towers to make press convenient for production.
• Manpower Deployment: Deploy Technical assistants under his machine to different roles to ensure all the activities adequately manned.
• Make-ready Operations Other Equipment: Check Paginations, Products, Press, Press Parameters, Technotrans, Reel stands, change overs to make the press prepared on time.
• Press Operations: Start the press, check the copies (Proofing), monitor Printing Quality as per

standards, sample file copies, solve production problems, check Print Orders and stop the press to finish production on time.

• Report Making and Communication: Prepare all Production Reports including downtime entry in SAP PM Notification module to share information between shifts and facilitate data for SAP, ADAM and MIS Report.
