Job Summary The NPD / Prepress Executive is responsible for managing the new product development cycle and preparing print-ready files for production. This role ensures that all packaging designs are feasible, compliant, and aligned with printing standards. Key Responsibilities New Product Development (NPD) Coordinate with sales, production, and design teams to manage NPD projects. Understand customer packaging requirements and translate them into actionable plans. Manage prototyping, sampling, and validation of new packaging formats. Liaise with external vendors for dies, tools, and materials. Track project timelines and documentation. Prepress Operations Review and verify artwork files for print readiness. Perform preflight checks and corrections (colour modes, bleed, resolution, trapping). Create final output files and coordinate with platemaking and Die making Vendors. Conduct digital or wet proofing and obtain client approvals. Maintain artwork version control and archiving. Cross-Functional Coordination Act as a communication bridge between design, production, and clients. Ensure colour consistency and print quality during production. Support QA in resolving print-related quality issues. Qualifications & Skills Any Degree, Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology, Packaging, or Graphic Design. 2–5+ years of experience in packaging prepress or NPD roles.
