Engineer/Senior Engineer - Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer

Thales India Engineering Competency Center in Bangalore is seeking a Engineer / Senior Engineer role to be part of Hardware engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for generating Schematic and PCB file for various Thales product design to meet the customer requirements as well as governing regulatory standards (UL, CE, MIL-STD, DO-160 etc.). You also perform trade analysis of design approaches, engineering simulations & modeling

Qualifications:

NOTE: Preferably looking for Immediate to max 30 days NP.

Technical Skills and Competencies:

• Must have advanced training in electronics with experience of more than 4 years in the electronic design office (PCB design)
• Must master electronic CAD tools, PCB Layout, signal integrity analyses. Should be very familiar with CADENCE/Allegro (Concept HDL Entry and Allegro PCB layout)
• Must be familiar with mechatronic system architectures with mixed signal / analog / digital boards and have knowledge of materials, technologies and industrial processes for producing printed boards and components packaging.
• Must have an experience of thermal, mechanical, EMC constraints to be taken account in PCB and PCBA design
• Must be strong proposal, rigorous, and like to work in a team.
• Must have experience in the analysis of specifications
• Must have experience in solutions proposals on interconnections, wiring, components packaging and printed circuit boards.
• Must have experience with contents of Product Data Package (Data files, Bill of Material or Item List, Item, Documents, components, COTS, Find Number, Material & Processes Item, etc.)
• Should have knowledge in DFM and DFT considerations for PCB designing
• Should have experience in airborne environment (thermal, EMC, ..)
• Should have experience of working with multi-disciplinary team (Electronics design, Mechanical design and System engineering teams)
