Principal Solutions Architect

The Solutions Architect will design and deliver robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions aligned with business objectives. This role ensures architectural integrity across projects, balancing innovation with compliance and operational efficiency. The role also involves defining end-to-end architecture for enterprise platforms, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met, and providing technology leadership by evaluating new trends and upholding compliance and operational standards.

• Solution Design & Architecture
• Define end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise-scale digital platforms.
• Develop high-level and detailed architecture diagrams covering application, data, and integration layers.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to software engineering standards and industry best practices.
• Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and technical teams to translate requirements into architectural blueprints.
• Present architecture decisions to senior stakeholders for approval.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly and concisely.
• Technology Leadership
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead technical reviews to ensure high-quality design and adherence to architecture principles.
• Delivery Oversight
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with design principles.
• Conduct architecture reviews and impact analysis for change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Governance & Documentation
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
• Maintain solution architecture documents as a single source of truth for design assurance and future maintenance.
• Implement governance processes to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.

• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), microservices, and API management.
• Expertise in software architecture patterns, cloud-native solutions, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and cloud landing zone design principles.
• Extensive experience with software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) and full SDLC.
• Minimum 15 years in software development, with a proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
• Architecture Experience: At least 8 10 years specifically in solution design or architecture roles, demonstrating expertise in defining and implementing complex systems.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges.
• Leadership and ability to influence technology strategy at an organizational level.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and multiple projects.
• Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional and global teams.
• Strategic influence to drive consensus among executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master s preferred).
• Experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure domains.
• Familiarity with Agile Frameworks, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Certifications: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.
