Role Overview: Salesforce is looking for software developers who are passionate about making a positive impact through their code. As a software engineer at Salesforce, you will collaborate with a team of top-notch engineers to create innovative features for our customers while ensuring the stability and scalability of our CRM platform. Your role will involve architecture, design, implementation, and testing to deliver high-quality products to our users. Key Responsibilities: - Build new components in the evolving market technology to enhance scale and efficiency. - Develop high-quality, production-ready code for millions of users. - Make design decisions based on performance, scalability, and future growth. - Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, code reviews, automation, and testing. - Create efficient components and algorithms in a microservice multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to the team. Qualifications Required: - Mastery of multiple programming languages and platforms. - Minimum of 14 years of software development experience. - Proficiency in object-oriented programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Scala, C#, Go, Node.JS, TypeScript, Object C, Swift, C++, etc. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases like Postgres, Trino, Redshift, Mongo. - Experience in developing SAAS applications on public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, GCP. - Knowledge of queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, workload distribution, relational, and non-relational databases. - Understanding of software development best practices and leadership skills. - Degree or equivalent relevant experience required; evaluation based on core competencies for the role.
