Principal/ Senior Engineer - Civil

As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers to design, plan, and oversee construction projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting site investigations, analyzing data for project feasibility, and preparing detailed construction drawings and specifications. It will be crucial to ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations while conducting quality control inspections to uphold required standards of construction materials and methods. In this role, you will also supervise construction teams and contractors to guarantee projects are completed according to plans and specifications. It will be your duty to monitor project progress, provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders, and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process. Additionally, you will be expected to develop cost estimates and budget proposals for construction projects while staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technology in civil engineering. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, along with experience in civil design engineering in an EPC environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software is essential. A strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations is required, as well as excellent project management and organizational skills. Your problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, along with effective communication and interpersonal skills, will be key to success in this role.,
