Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Compliance

Act as the Principal Officer and designated KMP under IFSCA regulations.

Ensure full compliance with IFSCA Act, regulations, circulars, and guidelines applicable to FMEs.

Liaise with IFSCA and other regulatory authorities for filings, approvals, inspections, and correspondence.

Governance & Risk

Implement and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.

Support the Board and senior management in corporate governance matters.

Identify, assess, and mitigate regulatory, operational, and compliance risks.

Fund & Business Oversight

Oversee fund management operations, including investment processes, portfolio management oversight, and investor servicing (as applicable).

Ensure adherence to fund documents, offering memoranda, and investment mandates.

Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers such as custodians, auditors, legal advisors, and administrators.

Operational Management

Ensure smooth day-to-day functioning of the FME from the GIFT City office.

Supervise operational processes, documentation, and record-keeping as per regulatory standards.

Support onboarding of funds, investors, and service providers in compliance with KYC/AML norms.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and key stakeholders.

Guide and mentor team members on compliance and regulatory best practices.

Represent the FME in meetings, audits, and regulatory reviews.

Qualification -

Professional qualification or post-graduate degree/diploma in Finance, Business Management, Law, Commerce, Economics, Accountancy, or related fields.

Preferred qualifications may include CA, CS,, CFA, or as per the companys requirements

Experience (IFSCA Guidelines on KMP Eligibility)

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial services, fund management, capital markets, portfolio management, investment advisory, or related financial services

Location -

Must be based in IFSC (GIFT City) on a full-time basis, as per Regulation 7 FME Requirements
