Job Description

Job Summary

Were looking for a DevOps Architect who can design and lead scalable CI/CD, cloud infrastructure and automation solutions across the organization. The role needs deep experience with cloud platforms, container orchestration, infrastructure as code and modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design the overall DevOps architecture covering CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring and automation. Lead the adoption of DevOps tools, standards and best practices across development teams. Architect and implement solutions using AWS, Azure or GCP. Build scalable CI/CD pipelines for microservices and distributed systems. Define infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates. Guide containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes. Set up observability stacks including logging, monitoring and alerting. Review system performance, reliability and cost optimization. Mentor DevOps engineers and collaborate with development, QA and security teams. Ensure security, compliance and governance across all environments.

Required Skills

Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps. Expertise in Kubernetes, Helm, Docker and container lifecycle management. Hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking and cloud architecture. Experience implementing monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic or Datadog. Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell. Understanding of DevSecOps principles and cloud security practices. Experience with scalable, high-availability architectures.

Good to Have

Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). Knowledge of serverless computing. Exposure to cost optimization strategies and FinOps.

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
