Job Description

Role Overview:

Position:

SAP ABAP Senior Software Engineer/Principal Engineer

Technical Skills Required:

Core ABAP (8+ Years Mandatory)

Core ABAP Development.
Proficient in RICEF objects, Enhancements, BADI s, Interface concepts, Module Pool programming.
Designing Smart Forms / Adobe Forms.
Strong modularization techniques: Classes, Subroutines, Includes, Function Modules (Normal and RFCs) using latest syntax on 7.4/7.5.

OData Services (2-3years):

Strong hands-on experience with OData service design and development.
Worked on $batch, $expand scenarios, and custom OData implementations.

Fiori / BTP Development (2-3years):
Designing, developing, and deploying UI applications in SAP BTP.
Experience with SAP BTP Cloud Connector.
Custom UI5 developments for end-to-end implementations.
Fiori Launchpad configurations.
Strong skills in XML, jQuery, JavaScript, and HTML.

S4 HANA:

CDS Views, AMDP, API extensions; RAP/CAPM knowledge is an added advantage.

Domain Knowledge:

Functional understanding of SAP SD.
Knowledge of SAP EWM/TM preferred.
Familiarity with Supply Chain, Logistics, and Transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop technical design documents from functional design documents created by BA
Solution design and Development using SAP ABAP best practices
Collaborating with cross functional team to successfully deliver the project.
Perform code reviews and guiding quality team to adhere to quality standards.

Skills Required

B.Tech Computer science graduate with strong technical expertise on ABAP
Excellent communication skills along with problem solving skills
One should have continuous learning mindset
Should be good team player and able to mentor junior resources
Should have good customer facing abilities

Education and Certification

Bachelor s degree in computer science

MBA/MS/MSc preferred
