Job Overview:

We are looking for a Principal Engineer with 7+ years of experience in building and scaling Java-based systems. This role involves leading technical initiatives, guiding engineering teams, and driving architectural decisions across backend services and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of complex backend systems and microservices.

Set technical direction and ensure adherence to best coding practices and architectural standards.

Mentor junior and mid-level developers, and conduct thorough code reviews.

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Ensure system scalability, performance, and security at all levels.

Drive DevOps and CI/CD strategies across projects.

Stay updated with the latest backend technologies and recommend improvements.

Required Skills:

Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate.

Strong background in RESTful API design, distributed systems, and architecture.

Deep understanding of OOP, system design, and database modeling.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
