Principal Engineer I Mechanical

You will be involved in designing and developing cockpit electronics products, supporting mechanical aspects of products and productions, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with processes. Key Responsibilities: - Mechanical design and development of cockpit electronics products for the automotive industry. - Provide mechanical support for product releases, changes, etc. - Create and update CAD models and drawings for parts and products. - Manage projects and ensure process compliance activities. - Communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders effectively. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. - 8-10 years of industry experience in relevant products. - Proficiency in 3D models design, GSD (Generative surface design - Class A) using CAD Tool CATIA V5. - Experience in 2D drawings preparation using CAD Tool CATIA V5. - Knowledge of tolerance stack-up and GD&T (Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing). - Familiarity with feasibility studies, DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and component design in Plastic, Sheet metal, and die casting. - Experience in DFM and DFA requirements, ME project management activities, Visteon process compliance, and effective communication with customers and suppliers. - Fluent in verbal and written English.
