Principal Control System Engineer

Role Overview: Join Oceaneering India Center to work on Industrialized Solutions in form of Siemens PLC based Control Systems for Remotely Operated Vehicles/Vessels (ROVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and similar Electro-mechanical systems. As a Control System Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing Control Logic and hardware, supervising junior engineers, coordinating project deliveries, and ensuring compliance with established processes. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise & mentor entry level Engineers on control and automation projects - Develop hardware and Software architecture design as per Company standard - Develop, run, and report on qualification tests for Siemens based control equipment - Review work carried out by other engineers, review the documents prepared by the team and approve the same - Direct team of Senior Engineers to handle assignments effectively - Define functional processes and work towards continuous improvement - Prepare & conduct technical trainings - Act as single point of contact for product development projects - Communicate with business units to understand their analysis needs - Plan jobs for duration, cost, etc. - Keep abreast of industry trends and issues - Comply with organizational HR policies and procedures - Understand and adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices Qualification Required: - Post Graduation (Master degree) in Automation & Control, or Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication with minimum six years of relevant industry experience, OR - Graduation (Bachelor degree) in Automation & Control, or Electrical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication with minimum eight years of relevant industry experience - Siemens Control HW/SW development experience for at least 2 Years - Experience of working with platform to establish communication with third party devices - Exposure of working on various network protocols viz. EtherNet, ControlNet etc. - Experience in C and/or Python Programming - Good communication skills. Must be fluent in the English language - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public,
