Job Title: Principal Consultant US Indirect Taxes

Location: Bangalore, Pune

Experience Required: 14–17 years

Department: Taxation Center of Excellence (COE) / Finance

Must have:-

16-20 years of total experience

At least recent 5 years in international taxation – US indirect taxes

Professionally qualified CA (ICAI) /CPA (US) /MBA Finance (reputed institutes)

Excellent communication and presentation skills

ERP and related tax tools hands on experience

Understands the business of the client and BPM industry

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic professional to lead our US Indirect Taxation

practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in multi-state US indirect taxes,

strong client engagement capabilities, and a strategic mindset to build and scale our

Taxation Center of Excellence (COE).

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for US Indirect Taxes across various states.

Lead client-facing and market-facing engagements, presenting comprehensive taxation solutions and strategies.

Drive capability building initiatives within the Taxation COE, including training, process optimization, and knowledge management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.

Ensure compliance and accuracy in tax reporting using ERP systems and tax automation tools.

Stay updated with evolving tax regulations and proactively assess their impact on clients and internal operations.

Required Qualifications:

CA (ICAI), CPA (US), or MBA Finance from a reputed institute.

14– 17 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in US Indirect Taxation.

Proven experience in handling ERP systems and tax tools (e.g., Vertex, Avalara, SAP, Oracle).

Strong understanding of client businesses and the Business Process Management

(BPM) industry.
