Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting and enhancing web applications as a Principal Consultant - Java Support at Genpact. Your primary duties will include troubleshooting Java applications, resolving technical issues, managing production incidents, executing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the application features are tested. Key Responsibilities: - Support/Troubleshoot Java applications, resolve technical issues through ticketing systems following process specifications - Create, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs - Manage and resolve production incidents, including system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects, and end-user support - Execute day-to-day operations via ticketing tools and processes, update tools in accordance with SLA specifications - Test application features, understand testing tools Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - B.E./ B. Tech/ MCA or equivalent Preferred Qualifications/ Skills: - Experience in Core-java, J2EE, and AWS - Strong understanding of Relational database concepts - Experience in frameworks like Spring, Struts, etc. - Good knowledge and work experience of Oracle Database, SQL - Experience with Maven, GIT, html, jsp, CSS, JavaScript - Ability to communicate effectively, with strong customer focus - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Flexible to work in shifts on a rotation basis - Willingness and ability to multi-task - Willingness to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies - Ability to learn and apply new processes and tools - Technical understanding of products/services and/or ecosystem being supported,
