Principal Cloud Architect

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex Azure cloud solutions. Leading technical teams in cloud projects and automating infrastructure using tools like Terraform will be a crucial part of your role. Ensuring security in cloud environments and effectively explaining cloud technologies to various audiences will also be within your scope of work. To qualify for this position, you should possess a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or have equivalent experience. With over 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 5 years dedicated to designing and deploying large Azure solutions, you should have a strong knowledge of Azure services such as Compute, Networking, Storage, DevOps, AKS, and Serverless Functions. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, and DevOps practices is a must. Your expertise should extend to microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes, along with proficiency in Azure AD and role-based access control for managing identity and access. A good grasp of databases like SQL, NoSQL, Cosmos DB, and tools like Databricks and Synapse is also essential. Additionally, you should have a proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across different functions effectively. Being adept at simplifying complex cloud topics for both technical and non-technical audiences is a valuable skill. Having Azure and architecture certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Expert, and TOGAF, will be a significant advantage for this role.,
