Role Overview: You will be working as a Principal Architect at MeasureOne, a leading consumer-permissioned data exchange platform that prioritizes privacy, consent, and security. Your role will involve strengthening the system design governance and architectural scalability of the platform as it continues to grow. This hands-on technical leadership position is designed for someone who can merge product context, system architecture, and execution depth effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Take ownership of designing, evolving, and documenting end-to-end system architectures across backend, frontend, and infrastructure layers. Establish standards for scalability, maintainability, and performance. - Write and review high-quality, production-ready code to set technical direction through practical implementation. - Drive the evolution of the platform architecture across services, APIs, and data layers. Evaluate technology trade-offs, design patterns, and implementation strategies. - Collaborate closely with engineering leads, product managers, and infrastructure teams to align technical strategy with business goals. Provide architectural mentorship to senior engineers. - Ensure systems are designed for testability, reliability, and traceability. Advocate for quality gates, CI/CD best practices, and continuous improvement in developer productivity. Qualification Required: - Deep, hands-on experience in Java, Node.js, GoLang, and familiarity with React or AngularJS. - Strong understanding of object-oriented design, domain-driven architecture, microservices, and scalable service patterns. - Practical exposure to AWS or GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation pipelines. Ability to guide infrastructure-aware design and performance optimization. - Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and knowledge of event-driven and asynchronous data architectures. - Solid grounding in testing frameworks, observability tools, and architectural patterns ensuring resilience and maintainability.
