Role Overview

The Primary Teacher at Petals Pre School will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role involves planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the holistic growth of each child in alignment with the school’s philosophy of joyful learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement creative lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independent learning through play-based and activity-based methods.
• Assess and monitor student progress, maintaining detailed records and sharing feedback with parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize events, celebrations, and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents to build strong school-home partnerships.
• Uphold the values and ethos of Petals Pre School in daily teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent qualification in Early Childhood Education.
• Prior teaching experience in a preschool or primary setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working with young children and nurturing their development.
• Creativity, patience, and adaptability in handling diverse learning needs.
• Familiarity with modern teaching aids, digital tools, and innovative pedagogical practices.
