Primary Mathematics Teacher

As a Primary Mathematics Teacher at The Vels Academy, you will have the opportunity to inspire students in the field of mathematics. Responsibilities include developing and updating curriculum materials for the Cambridge Board mathematics program, delivering effective and engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, creating and administering assessments to evaluate student progress, providing individualized support to students who require extra assistance, encouraging mathematical problem-solving skills, incorporating educational technology into teaching, maintaining open communication with parents and guardians, staying updated on the latest trends in mathematics education, and establishing a positive classroom environment. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field, teaching certification or licensure if required, prior experience teaching mathematics, strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in educational technology, dedication to student success, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
