Job Description

Experience & Qualifications:

5–7 years of experience in pricing for Import Sea Freight Forwarding.
Strong understanding of global shipping routes, trade lanes, and freight market dynamics.
Experience in negotiating freight rates with shipping lines and overseas agents.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage pricing requests from the Sales team and provide competitive ocean freight rates.
Liaise with shipping lines and global partners to negotiate optimal freight terms.
Respond to monthly and quarterly RFQs, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Monitor industry trends, fuel surcharges, and freight fluctuations to optimize pricing strategies.
Resolve pricing conflicts and ensure alignment with service agreements.
Maintain strong relationships with carriers and partners to secure priority pricing and space.
Be responsible for overseas agent relations and also develop new agency partnerships.
