Job Description

Role Overview: As a Pricing Consultant at Vanderlande, you will be a part of the Strategic Costing & Verification team, where you will be responsible for owning the methodology for the cost calculation process used for customer bids exceeding 50M EUR. Your role will involve working on tools and content needed for bid preparation, ensuring accuracy of cost data in calculation systems, and supporting Sales Teams in bid preparations. Additionally, you will collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders to prepare cost overviews, drive initiatives for improvements, and enhance the completeness of cost models. Key Responsibilities: - Perform standard checks on costing/pricing calculation files for approvals and guide stakeholders on preparing official costing/pricing documents. - Set up reference projects for cost monitoring and benchmarking purposes. - Convert and explain old project cost calculation files to current files with cost updates. - Ensure data used in costing tools is complete, accurate, and up-to-date. - Support data analysis to enhance the cost tool and values used. - Provide support, coaching, and training to Business users in detailed cost calculations. - Assist in DfX programs to improve product costs and define cost models for newly developed products and services. - Stay updated on upcoming product changes to assess impacts on costs and cost modeling. - Analyze equipment or category costs across customer projects and prepare standard reports. - Contribute to continuous improvement programs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a technical field of study (e.g., Mechanical/Electrical/Controls). - Advanced skills in computer Excel, databases, and analytics. - 4 to 6 years of business experience, preferably in an international Material Handling automation company. - Commercial and international affinity. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. - Fluency in English, along with strong cultural awareness.,
