Description

We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance with a focus on preventive measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory of spare parts.
Collaborate with other team members to develop maintenance schedules and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance procedures.
Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices.

Skills and Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Certification in mechanical maintenance or a related field is a plus.
