Job Description

Press Shop / Assembly Engineer

The candidate will be responsible for :

Daily work and material allocation on the shop floor.
Executing production plans for chain assembly line.
Supervising operations related to
presses, jigs, dies and fixtures.
Handling manpower costs, consumables, and ensuring adherence to timelines.
Implementing Kaizen, Poka Yoke, 5S and ensuring shop floor safety.
Training workmen for process and quality improvement.
Ensuring ISO & OHSAS compliance and maintaining production records.
Conducting preventive maintenance to ensure machine uptime.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Strong experience in
press operations
or
material handling equipment manufacturing
.
Sound knowledge of TPM, jigs and fixtures, and drawing reading.
Good communication, problem-solving and team supervision skills.
This role requires hands-on shop floor experience and the ability to coordinate across functions and meet production targets under safety and quality standards.
