Job Description

**Role Overview:** As a TechSales Solutions Consultant at Hitachi Vantara, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the direct sales team and partners to provide support for all presales solution aspects of the sales cycle. Your role will involve activities such as RFI/RFP preparation, opportunity & account planning, technical liaison with Professional Services / Partners and APAC TEs / Product Management teams, demonstrations, and joint partner solutions. You will play a crucial role in establishing and supporting the technical sales relationship with prospects & clients by mapping product capabilities to client needs and ensuring the success of post-sale implementations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide technical sales support to the sales team and partners leading the engagements - Focus on customer engagements in ongoing opportunities - Leverage technical relationship and trusted advisor role to create new opportunities through consultative selling - Support RFI/RFP preparation (both proactive and reactive) - Assist in solution proposal support to highlight differentiators and quantified benefits with CXO level summary - Engage in technical discussions with key partners for joint solution development and/or joint bidding - Lead initial solution demonstrations to customers and partners - Assist in pre-sales to post-sale transition for smooth implementation and maximum customer satisfaction **Qualifications Required:** - Strong ability to identify, document, and articulate the business and technical requirements of prospective customers during the full sales cycle - Excellent communication skills to present our software's ability to address prospect's requirements through compelling presentations - Customer facing and presentation skills - Collaboration and teamwork with HV teams and partner teams - Proactive approach to lead customer/partner/consultant engagements and strengthen HV's presence in accounts - Excellent writing and quantitative skills for proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and MS PowerPoint presentations - High level of energy, enthusiasm, persistence, discipline, and a strong desire to succeed - Willingness to do whatever is necessary to win, including teamwork and issue resolution - Ability to travel as needed **Additional Company Details:** Hitachi Vantara is a global team of innovators dedicated to co-creating meaningful solutions to complex challenges.
