As a Data Engineering Senior Research Specialist (6-9) in the Solutioning Team at MathCo, you will play a crucial role in understanding the unique data engineering requirements of our prospects. Your responsibilities will include crafting tailored solutions that highlight our technical expertise, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and integrating business insights with technical strategies to design data architectures, ETL flows, governance processes, and other engineering solutions that address customers" evolving data management needs. Responsibilities: 1. Solution Design - Engage with potential clients to grasp their business and technical challenges and contribute to the solution development process. - Conduct in-depth research on engineering solutions based on client needs and industry trends. - Act as a technical advisor during client meetings, offering valuable insights to showcase our capabilities. - Create realistic data engineering project roadmaps with internal and client stakeholders" input. - Evaluate tools, platforms, and methodologies to align with project requirements. - Develop compelling solution presentations that convey complex analyses in a clear and engaging manner. 2. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams - Translate technical insights into business value and serve as a strategic partner in decision-making. - Communicate complex data engineering issues clearly to diverse stakeholders. - Collaborate with customer success leaders, data architects, and industry experts to design tailored solutions. Required Skills: - Proficiency in data engineering concepts and major cloud service providers (AWS / GCP / Azure). - Strong research and analytical skills. - Experience in mapping technical solutions for clients and stakeholders. - Expertise in storyboarding and proposal design.
