Pre-School Female Teacher

Job Title: Pre-Primary Teacher
Location: Canary International Preschool, Mohammedwadi, Pune

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced female pre-primary teacher who is committed to nurturing young minds and contributing to the mission and values of Canary International Preschool. The ideal candidate will be creative, energetic, and process-oriented, with a strong command over English and a love for teaching children in their formative years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct engaging and age-appropriate teaching activities for preschool children.
• Prepare and implement monthly theme-based lesson plans and decorate the classroom accordingly.
• Step in as a substitute for fellow teachers during absences to ensure smooth functioning.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, workshops, and training programs.
• Assist in planning and organizing school events such as Sports Day, Annual Day, and festivals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic classroom environment and monitor overall school cleanliness.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to proactively plan and prepare for daily activities.
• Foster strong relationships with parents by maintaining an open-door communication policy.
• Represent the school to prospective parents, explaining our curriculum, teaching methodology, and values from a teacher's perspective.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or primary classes.
• Graduate in any stream with a preferred teaching qualification (ECCE/NTT/PPTTC or equivalent).
• Excellent English communication, writing, and presentation skills; Marathi fluency is an advantage.
• Energetic, self-motivated, creative, and process-oriented.
• Basic computer literacy is required.
• Pleasant personality, patient, and able to interact politely with children, parents, and staff.
• Residing within a reasonable commuting distance from Mohammedwadi, Pune.
