Pre-Sales consultant

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, your main responsibility will be to exceed the set pre-sales objectives of the assigned territory through solution architecting and supporting the sales function. You will be co-owning the revenue targets and must possess strong customer-facing skills as a non-negotiable prerequisite. - Understand the business and technology challenges of the customer and articulate a functional and technical storyboarding - Conduct pre-sales product/solutions presentations and demonstrations - Manage pre-sales and draft the overall techno-functional proposals - Acquire thorough knowledge of the products and be customer-facing within a quarter from the date of recruitment - Coordinate with the technical services/delivery team for solutions articulation and feasibility - Respond to online bids / RFI(s) / RFP(s) well within deadlines - Prepare/write customer proposals and tender responses - Create and update proposal templates and proposal material in a timely manner - Prepare and review customized reports that go to senior management and other stakeholders periodically - Coordinate sales strategy, technical design, project management, commercial input, authorization, formal document production, and negotiations - Candidates with Engineering (CS/ECE/IT) background preferred; MBA in marketing would be an added advantage - Knowledge of e-Learning standards and processes is preferred - Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT solutions and pre-sales - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate clearly to various stakeholders - Proven track record of supporting sales in achieving their quota - Experienced in moving opportunities through the sales cycle by proposing and presenting solutions - Willingness to travel extensively, as and when required - Ability to work as an individual contributor,
