Position: Preschool Teacher School: Maple Bear Nagenahalli Preschool Location: 3rd A Cross, Yelahanka, behind Shell Petrol Bunk, Nagenahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560064 Timings: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Saturday Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We seek a nurturing, creative, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. Key Responsibilities: Create a warm, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans based on our school curriculum that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Observe and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers. Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among children. Organise creative activities, including storytelling, arts & crafts, music, and play-based learning. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s development and daily activities. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the learning experience. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required. Maintain classroom cleanliness and organisation. Document student progress and report any incidents immediately to the Centre Head. Take photographs of students as required. Qualifications & Skills we look for: One of: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field OR Certification in Preschool Teaching (NTT, Montessori, or equivalent) OR 2 years of prior experience working with young children (ages 2-5) in a preschool or daycare setting. Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Punctuality and responsibility. Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners. Basic knowledge of first aid and child safety practices (certification is a plus). Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday Timings: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 3 PM on Saturdays
