Assessments: Purpose: Evaluate student learning and development across various domains (cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative). Methods: Observation: Observe students during play, activities, and interactions. Anecdotal Records: Briefly note significant observations about student behavior, learning, and development. Checklists: Use checklists to assess specific skills and milestones. Portfolios: Collect student work samples (drawings, crafts, writing) to showcase progress over time. Grade Cards: Purpose: Communicate student progress to parents in a clear and concise manner. Format: Can include observations, checklists, and overall assessments of student performance. Frequency: Grade cards can be issued periodically (e.g., quarterly or at the end of the term). 2.
