Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Ensuring on-time delivery of Fabric Rolls to production unit and to next process based on production plan.
Implement QR code system for rolls mapping to make effective utilization of fabrics.
Ensuring Inventory accuracy across for Fabrics stock at unit.
Conducting perpetual inventory system effectively to avoid discrepancy during stock audit.
Ensuring 100% Physical verification while receiving Fabric from production. GSM, length, width No of Rolls for specific Container orders.
100 % Ensuring fabric mapping for customer orders.
Ensuring regular reconciliation with Cutting section (next process) to avoid shortages.
Ensure zero stock out condition for any of the fabrics that material planned for production.
Ensure material storage and issuance based on FIFO system.
Ensure material handling and storage based on the MSDS
Daily Report sharing to concern stakeholders, Critical/shortage list.
Ensure material receipt/issuance/ GRN process on time for the fabrics.
Ensure no accumulation of dead stock for any of the fabrics at Unit.
Ensure no excess / shortage receipt at unit and rise debit note to vendors in case of short receipt reported.
Ensuring on time MRN material return to vendors for rejected material and co-ordinate with procurement team to get replacement.
Ensure smooth inter unit material transfer with proper delivery note.
