We are looking for an Automation Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Cloud and strong programming skills in PowerShell, and Azure Functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated workflows, optimizing cloud operations, and enhancing service reliability through intelligent automation. This role requires a solid understanding of Azure services and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow Automation

- Design and implement automated workflows using PowerShell.

- Develop reusable scripts and functions to streamline cloud operations and service management.

- Integrate automation solutions with Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Automation, and Event Grid.

Azure Cloud Operations

- Manage and optimize Azure resources including VMs, storage, networking, and identity services.

- Implement automation for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of cloud infrastructure.

- Ensure compliance, security, and cost-efficiency across automated solutions.

Collaboration & Innovation

- Work closely with DevOps, SRE, and development teams to identify automation opportunities.

- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

- Document automation processes and provide training to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

- 6+ years of experience in automation engineering or related roles.

- Proficiency in PowerShell (C# is a plus), and Azure Functions for workflow automation.

- Strong understanding of core Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and identity.

- Experience with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and monitoring tools.

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

- Ability to work independently and lead automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400).
