Job Description

Playwright Automation Engineer / Developer

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using

    Playwright

  • Automate UI test cases for web applications
  • Maintain and improve automation frameworks
  • Execute automation suites and share clear reports
  • Identify defects and track them to closure

  • Communicate with the client on a daily basis

  • Attend daily client calls (mandatory)

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Playwright

  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written English)
  • Comfortable communicating with clients on a daily basis
  • Good knowledge of

    JavaScript / TypeScript

  • Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM)

Associated Tools & Software

  • Node.js
  • NPM / Yarn
  • Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
  • VS Code
  • Playwright Test Runner
  • Allure / HTML / Playwright default reports
  • JIRA or similar bug tracking tools

CI/CD & DevOps (Good to Have)

  • Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI
  • Running Playwright tests in CI pipelines
  • Headless browser execution
  • Docker (basic understanding)

API & Backend (Plus Point)

  • API testing basics (REST APIs)
  • Tools like Postman
  • Understanding of HTTP methods & status codes
  • Basic JSON handling

Cloud & Environment (Optional)

  • Running tests on cloud environments
  • AWS / Azure / GCP (basic exposure)
  • BrowserStack / LambdaTest (optional)

Experience

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in

    Playwright automation

  • Freshers with strong Playwright hands-on projects can also apply

Preferred Candidate

  • Immediate joiners or short notice period
  • Responsible and professional in client interactions
  • Willing to work from office if required
