PowerBI Developer

As an individual with experience in insurance reporting and data analysis, you will be responsible for the following tasks: - Connect various data sources, import, and transform data for Business Intelligence purposes. - Build BI solutions by applying data analysis techniques and industry best practices. - Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports to meet business requirements. - Design visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop. - Utilize Tableau effectively by applying transformations, filters, prompts, calculated fields, sets, groups, parameters, graphs, and forecasts. - Utilize geo codes for map layouts and maintain expertise in action filters, LODs, and Tableau functions. - Translate complex business requirements into reporting solutions. - Utilize advanced statistical and analytical capabilities to derive meaningful insights. - Communicate findings through compelling data visualizations and storytelling. Qualifications: - Strong experience in Power BI development. - Proficiency in SQL programming, including advanced SQL writing skills. - Understanding of relational and dimensional data models. - Ability to lead a team and provide technical direction. - Knowledge of data visualization best practices and user experience design. - Excellent analytical, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Good-to-Have Skills: - Familiarity with Tableau and Cognos for advanced BI and reporting capabilities. - Experience with Tableau, including effective spreadsheet modeling and advanced functionalities. - Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git) with experience in CI/CD pipelines.,
