The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 3000+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy to date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. As a Power System Engineer, the mission is to design, develop, and maintain reliable and efficient power systems that meet the customer specifications. How you ll make an impact: Configure Hitachi Network Manager EMS applications based on project documentation and customer data. Design HMI displays and configure electric system data models in NM. Conduct tests at different stages of Project Life Cycle (PreFAT/FAT/PreSAT/SAT) Create or assist in the writing of system functional description, user documentation, instructions and procedures. Deliver customer trainings and workshops. Assist in the designing, testing, and deploying of business applications. Assist in problem solving and providing solutions. Tech in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems. Should have 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience. Should have experience in Control Centre SCADA configuration, tuning testing. Should have experience in EMS application tuning testing. Must have people skills, in particular the ability to work with both international customers and suppliers as EMS Systems Engineer. Software coding with C-family programming languages, FORTRAN will be an advantage. Should be adaptable to fast evolving technology and have the willingness to learn. Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required. Willingness to travel is must.
