Power Systems Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining the dedicated Power Systems team at Cundall in Chennai, working on designing exciting projects locally and regionally. The team specializes in conducting power studies across various sectors and is expanding into new areas such as large-scale renewables. Key Responsibilities: - Produce engineering designs, calculations, and specifications using technical software. - Utilize ETAP and PTW power systems software for modeling complex networks and running advanced power system studies. - Coordinate with other disciplines and specialisms as needed. - Prepare technical reports based on client briefs. - Supervise and coordinate the production of technical drawings. - Attend client and project meetings, both internal and external. - Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and address any issues. - Correspond with external parties regarding technical queries. - Comply with project management, quality assurance, environmental, and health and safety procedures. - Manage your continuing professional development actively. - Attend project meetings and site or factory tests as required. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Electrical Engineering. - Experience in an Electrical Engineering role, preferably within a data center/critical systems context. - Proficiency in electrical theory and relevant design software. - Ability to coordinate with team resources and other design disciplines. - Experience in producing schematic diagrams, fault studies, specifications, and project reports. - Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities. - Passion for accurate design of electrical systems.
