Power BI & Python specialist

You will be joining our team as a Business Analytics Specialist focusing on Data Automation & Visualization. Your primary responsibility will be to drive automation, develop advanced reports, and conduct insightful data analysis across various functional areas. Your passion for data, visualization, and providing actionable insights will be crucial in supporting strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities will include automating recurring reports, creating visually appealing dashboards, and assisting departments such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Strategy, and Commercial Operations with relevant models and reporting tools. You will be required to build and maintain data models using tools like Power BI, ensuring optimal performance and incorporating star schema best practices. Additionally, transitioning existing QlikView reports to Power BI and collaborating with stakeholders to translate goals into clear data solutions will be part of your duties. Your technical skills should encompass proficiency in SQL and SSMS, advanced knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and Power Query, experience with PySpark and Azure Data Factory pipelines, familiarity with QlikView, and exposure to Power Automate and other automation tools. Understanding Agile development methodologies, strong data modeling capabilities, and visualization skills are also essential requirements for this role. Soft skills and attributes including strong communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills with attention to detail, proactivity, self-motivation, and result-oriented mindset, time management under pressure, teamwork with a flexible and creative approach, customer orientation, and stakeholder management skills are highly valued in this position. Ideally, you should have at least 3-6 years of experience in Business Analytics or a related role, a background working across multiple business domains, and a proven track record of delivering automated and strategic data solutions.
