Power BI Expert

**Job Description:** As a Power BI Expert with 12 to 15 years of experience in data analysis, your role at our dynamic team involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to provide actionable insights from complex data. You will work closely with stakeholders to meet their reporting and analytical needs by utilizing your expertise in data modeling, data visualization, and Power BI tools. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Power BI Development:** Design, develop, and maintain interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports. - **Data Analysis:** Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and offer data-driven recommendations. - **Data Modeling:** Create and optimize data models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. - **ETL Processes:** Develop and manage ETL processes to extract data from various sources, transform it, and load it into data warehouses. - **Collaboration:** Gather requirements from business users and stakeholders, translating them into technical specifications. - **Report Automation:** Streamline business processes and improve efficiency by automating reports and dashboards. - **Data Governance:** Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all reporting solutions. - **Training & Support:** Provide end-users training and support on how to effectively utilize Power BI reports and dashboards. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field. - 12+ years of experience as a Power BI Expert and Data Analyst. - Expertise in Power BI tools like Power Query, DAX, and M language. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. - Proficient in data modeling, data visualization, and statistical concepts. - Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, SQL Server, Azure Synapse Analytics is a plus. - Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) preferred. - Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, and data warehousing concepts. **Additional Company Details:** At GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group Company, we prioritize a culture of caring, continuous learning, interesting & meaningful work, balance, flexibility, and high trust.
