Role & responsibilities

• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (primarily

  SQL Server

  , Excel, and cloud platforms).
• Develop and maintain

  interactive, visually compelling dashboards

  and reports tailored to business needs (Sales, Operations, Logistics, Accounts, etc.).
• Perform

  data cleaning, transformation, and modelling

  using Power Query and DAX.
• Create

  measures, calculated columns, and KPIs

  to enhance data insights.
• Automate data refresh schedules and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Implement

  row-level security

  and manage access permissions.
• Optimize dashboard performance and ensure best practices in data visualization and usability.
• Document datasets, dataflows, and report structures for easy maintenance.
• Stay updated on the latest Power BI and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Proven experience with

  Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and SQL Server

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  DAX

  and

  Power Query (M language)

  .
• Proficiency in

  data modelling, relationships, and normalization concepts

  .
• Solid understanding of

  ETL processes

  and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a focus on

  data accuracy and performance optimization

  .
• Experience integrating Power BI with

  Excel, SharePoint, Dynamics NAV/

  , Microsoft Dynamics CRM or other ERP systems (preferred).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to

  Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Factory

  or

  Synapse Analytics

  .
• Experience with

  RLS (Row-Level Security)

  and governance best practices.
• Familiarity with

  Python or R

  for advanced analytics.
• Experience in

  report automation and scheduling

  using Power Automate or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of APIs and data connectors.
