Power BI Developer

The role involves providing business intelligence services, spearheading BI software development, and creating Power BI reports. You will manage Power BI applications, train end users, and collaborate with product teams and business analysts for report development. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing Power BI reports using data from SAP BW, focusing on BEx queries and other BW objects. You will design reports and dashboards using data from Excel, data lakes, and Microsoft Fabric, and implement DAX queries to support complex data models within Power BI. Additionally, you will work with Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and other tools to integrate and analyze data. You will schedule report delivery, ensure data security and compliance, and manage Power BI workspaces. Collaborating with business users, you will gather requirements, design intuitive UX, and provide ongoing support. Monitoring performance, staying updated with Power BI features, and continuously improving reporting capabilities are key aspects of the role. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, at least 4 years of experience in developing Power BI solutions, proficiency in Microsoft BI stack, DAX, Azure Synapse, AAS, and scripting. You should have experience in SAP BW integration, SQL server, data visualization, and UX design principles. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to lead data warehousing projects are essential.
