About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions for business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, data modelling, and end-to-end BI development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Create and maintain data models, relationships, hierarchies, and calculated columns.
• Write advanced DAX expressions for measures and calculations.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources: SQL, Azure, Excel, APIs, Cloud storage, etc.
• Optimize report performance, visuals, and data refresh strategies.
• Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and enforce data governance policies.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and convert them into BI solutions.
• Maintain documentation of dashboards, datasets, and data flows.
• Ensure high data accuracy, quality, and reliability in all deliverables.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
• Expertise in DAX, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures).
• Experience working with cloud environments (Azure preferred: ADF, Synapse, ADLS).
• Ability to design visually appealing, user-friendly, and interactive dashboards.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts: fact tables, dimensions, star schema.
• Experience with Power Automate or Power Apps is an added advantage.
