Power BI Developer

Role Overview: As a Power BI Developer at our company located in Gurugram, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive support for our globally used Microsoft Power BI platform. You will serve as the initial point of contact for any inquiries related to Microsoft Power BI, ranging from basic architecture to specific reporting issues. Your role will involve handling the entire report lifecycle, including creation, deployment, and visualization. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues from both IT and business departments, both locally and internationally, in the BI and data analytics environment. Your expertise in Power BI functionalities and staying updated with the latest developments will be crucial in creating solution concepts for complex requirements. Furthermore, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to make adjustments to the platform and existing systems. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and conducting meetings, workshops, and training sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive support for the Microsoft Power BI platform - Act as the initial contact point for all Power BI-related topics - Handle the report lifecycle from creation to visualization - Collaborate with colleagues from IT and business departments - Participate in data modeling and conduct basic requirements analyses - Stay informed about Power BI functionalities and latest developments - Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to implement adjustments - Prepare and execute meetings, workshops, and training sessions Qualifications Required: - Degree in computer science, economics, or a related field - Strong Microsoft Power BI skills, including DAX proficiency, Data Integration, SQL knowledge, and Power BI administration - Experience in Data Literacy and report design - Knowledge of designing BI solutions based on modern concepts - Initial cloud experience, ideally with Azure - Analytical thinking and structured work approach - Familiarity with semantic and logical data modeling - Practical experience with the Microsoft technology stack, specifically Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power BI Report Server - Experience implementing complex reporting requirements using Microsoft Power BI, preferably in a corporate setting (Note: The company's additional details were not provided in the Job Description),
