Power BI Developer

As a Power BI Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable business insights. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Your responsibilities will also include performing data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations for accurate and efficient reporting. Additionally, you will work with SQL and data warehouse concepts to prepare, cleanse, and optimize datasets for reporting. Troubleshooting and resolving data, report, and dashboard-related issues will be part of your daily tasks. It is essential to ensure that all reports comply with organizational BI standards and performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate reporting requirements. - Perform data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations. - Work with SQL and data warehouse concepts to prepare and optimize datasets. - Troubleshoot and resolve data, report, and dashboard-related issues. - Ensure compliance with organizational BI standards and performance requirements. Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and related tools). - Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques and SQL. - Experience in building visually appealing and insightful dashboards. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication skills to effectively present data-driven insights to stakeholders. - Understanding of Business Intelligence methodologies and real-world business use. Additionally, the following qualifications are required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - PL-300 certification (mandatory). - DP-500 certification (preferred/added advantage).
